The WA GSA Mission Statement :::

The Washington State Gay-Straight Alliance Network, a project of GLSEN Washington State, is a youth-led organization created to help connect public and private GSA-based clubs and other community groups throughout Washington State. Students will develop leadership skills and help to build peer support through programs, workshops and trainings.

The students involved with the Network will educate the community, teachers and fellow students about bullying, harassment and homophobia that LGBTQ youth face. Both students and advisors will connect with other clubs to learn what is being done within the Network and how to make it stronger and become more successful.

The WA GSA Vision :::

The Washington State Gay-Straight Alliance Network envisions itself as a one-stop source of assistance and information for any public, secondary and college students in Washington State to help start or strengthen a student club to end anti-LGBT harassment and discrimination on their campus.
