Helping Students Fight Harassment and Homophobia in Washington State Schools

Washington GSA Network Team

The Washington State GSA Network envisions a group of individuals: two students and one adult advisor from each region, to help lead and organize the Network. This group would meet annually during the summer to discuss ideas on ways that Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) can network and successfully become leaders in their respective school districts.

These people will take active roles in their communities and be available for trainings, assisting with the launch of other new GSA groups or even participating in community and regional events. They would also develop other programs that would be useful in the State of Washington. Each region in the state is different, so the programs developed by this body would reflect the input from communities from around the state, both urban and rural.

The Washington State GSA Network is looking for young leaders across the state! We are looking for 2 students in each region of Washington to serve on our Leadership Team.
